Tayler John “Tator” Turpin passed away on May 28, 2019 at the age of 20. He is survived by his father, Steven John Turpin of Moscow Mills, MO; mother, Tammy Lynn (Bill Freymuth) Linnenbringer-Turpin of Troy, MO; sister, Madilynn Paige Turpin of Troy, MO; significant other, Shelbie Schuette of St. Paul, MO; grandmother, Mary “Lou” Turpin of Foristell, MO; grandparents, Dennis (Marsha) Linnenbringer of Wentzville, MO; aunts and uncles; Jeff (Barb) Turpin of Jonesburg, MO, Patty (Chuck) Koehler of Wentzville, MO, Tim (Stephanie) Turpin of Troy, MO, Angie (Doug) Mutert of Foristell, MO, Chris (Eric) Boehm of St. Peters, MO, Ashley Fry of Wentzville, MO; and seventeen cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard “Dick” Turpin; uncle, Greg Turpin.
Tayler was known for his enormous smile and will be remembered fondly for his distinct laugh and joyful personality. There wasn’t a song he wouldn’t dance to, a boat he wouldn’t fish from, a funny face he wouldn’t make, a duck blind he wouldn’t hunt from, or a friend he wouldn’t help. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 2 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville Parkway in Wentzville. Funeral service is Monday, June 3 at 10:30 a.m. at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville, with a private interment.
