Ronald M. Nixon

Ronald M. Nixon passed away on September 10, 2021 at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janet (Bush) Nixon of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; daughter, Rhonda Nixon Entwistle of Saint Peters, MO; step-son, Robert D. (Cheryl) Wheatley of Naperville, IL; step-daughter, Cheri (Dave) Moseley of Hobart, IN; seven grandchildren, Buddy (Abbi) Entwistle, Rob Entwistle, Joe Zaricor, Chris (Jessie) Zaricor, Luke Wheatley, A.J. Wheatley, Bo Layton; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Entwistle, Aubrey Entwistle, Wyatt Entwistle, Will Entwistle.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Dorthy Lamur Nixon, brother, Robert Nixon, son, Robert K. Nixon.  

Ron began his career at Union Electric in 1953 as a lineman and worked through the ranks retiring in 1996 from Sachs Electric as Vice President of Marketing.  He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed basketball, baseball, bowling, golf, hunting, and fishing.  Ron served on many boards including Windsor School Board, President of the Electrical Board of Trade 1992 and 1993, and Engineers Club of Greater St. Louis.  Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation is Sunday, Sept. 19, from 2 - 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis, 2230 Lake St. Louis Blvd., Lake St. Louis, MO 63367. Funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers donations may be made payable to;  First Baptist Church of Lake St. Louis Building Fund or Siteman Cancer Center in care of Pitman Funeral Home, P. O. Box 248, Wentzville, MO  63385.
