Marilyn J. Ballard passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 85. She was the beloved wife of Lawrence L. Ballard of Wentzville, Missouri; She is survived by her son, Christopher L. (Julie) Ballard of Germany; step-son, Stephen L. (Lisa) McCabe of Louisville, KY; daughter, Jennifer L. (Stephen) Doerr of Wentzville, MO; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Father, George L. Speck, mother, Hazel C. Speck nee Swindell, step-son, Brad R. Ballard, sister, Charlotte R. Speck. Marilyn was a member of Vision Christian Church in Foristell, MO. She was an exceptionally talented painted who enjoyed art and making crafts. She also enjoyed many other hobbies such as gardening, cooking, and singing. She will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service was held January 10 at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville, with interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
