Gerald Joseph Molitor, 84, of Marthasville, MO passed away on April 21, 2020 at Cedar Crest Manor, Washington surrounded by his family. Gerald was born September 26, 1935 in Cottleville, MO to August and Florence Molitor nee Hoecklemann.
Gerald proudly served his country in the United States Army. Gerald was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, the Union Local 660, Coon Hunters Association, and was a member of the band called The Travelers. Gerald enjoyed fishing, hunting, working and cutting wood, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Gerald is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Betty Molitor nee Dieckman of Marthasville, MO; two sons, Ronald Joseph (Rita) Molitor of Marthasville, MO, Donald Joseph (Shana) Molitor of Marthasville, MO; daughter, Carol Marie Molitor of Marthasville, MO; granddaughter, Epiphanina Maria Molitor; grandson, Brock Joseph Molitor; four brothers, Richard Molitor of Foristell, MO, Conrad Molitor of Wentzville, MO, Michael Molitor of Marthasville, MO, William Molitor of New Melle, MO; three sisters, Florence Joerling of New Melle, MO, Janie Huddleston of Marthasville, MO, Loretta Burns of New Melle, MO; He is preceded in death by his father, August Molitor, mother, Florence Molitor, sister, Mary Ann Rhodes, brother, August “Sonny” Molitor, brother, Robert Molitor, sister, Betty Thompson, brother, Glennon Molitor.
Private family visitation was be held at Pitman Funeral Home, Warrenton on Friday April 24, 2020.
Family Graveside Service was held at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Concord Hill, MO.
Memorial Mass will be held at St. Ignatius Catholic Church at a later date.
