Asleep in Jesus Dale Bauer passed away on September 13, 2021 at the age of 77 years. Dale leaves behind his beloved wife, Susan (nee Redecker), and son, Kevin, of Wentzville, MO. He is also survived by his brother- and sister-in-law, Charles and Betty Redecker of Warrenton, MO; nephew, John Redecker, and niece, Cathy Doyle; and many, many cousins on both sides of his family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, William L. Bauer, and mother, Paula E. Bauer (nee Hesterberg). Dale honorably served in the US Army in Vietnam. He studied and graduated from Ranken Technical and subsequently joined the Tool Design Department at McDonell Douglas Corporation. From there, he transferred to Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) for designing and programming of parts for multiple companies. He also trained new design engineers, tested software upgrades, and wrote instructional manuals.Dale was baptized and confirmed into faith in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. He served as an Elder, School Board President and Member, along with other boards and commissions, at Immanuel Lutheran, Wentzville. Dale also loved the farm life and his Allis-Chalmers tractors. He was a Charter Member and a Director of the Missouri Allis-Chalmers Club. He was a friend to many and will be missed by all.

Visitation is Tuesday, Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 632 E. Hwy. N in Wentzville. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the church, with interment in South Linn Cemetery in Wentzville.
