TROY, Mo. – A manhunt is in progress after a man killed two people in Troy, Missouri. Davionne McRoberts has been identified as the person of interest.

McRoberts is in his mid-20s, and suspected to have been related to the victims.
A man and a woman in their 70s were pronounced dead, as police are investigating the incident as a double homicide. This was near a Casey’s General Store, which is currently closed for safety reasons as police investigate.
FOX 2’s Nissan Rogue Runner reporter Nic Lopez was at the scene.
Police said some family members called them out to the mobile home on the Eames and East Cherry Streets for a welfare check around 7:30 p.m. Investigators told FOX 2 that the couple may have been dead inside earlier this week. Right now, police are not releasing many details right now about the victims or what happened. We do know the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is helping Troy police with the investigation.
“Partly why how he was identified was just because of family members that have communicated information that leads us to believe that he is a person of interest that we need to make contact with,” Troy Police Department’s Dustyn Tienter shared. “Basically the person of interest that we have entered. Hopefully we can locate him, and we can to fill in some try to fill in some gaps.”
Police are not releasing the names of the victims at this time.
