The City of Lake Saint Louis will host an open house on Monday, July 22 to gather community feedback as City staff work to update the City’s land use regulations and zoning map. Members of the public are encouraged to drop in anytime from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 22 at the Lake Saint Louis City Hall (200 Civic Center Drive, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367).

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with City staff and project consultants and provide input on the City’s land use regulations which include zoning, signage, parking, and landscaping regulations, and design guidelines. Those who can’t attend the open house can submit comments online or directly to City Staff.

In December 2018, the City hired PGAV Planners, a St. Louis-based consulting firm, to perform a comprehensive update of the City’s land use regulations and zoning map. The land use regulations, in their current form, were adopted in 1988 and have been amended nearly 200 times since then. The goal of the project is to update the land use regulations to implement recommendations of the City’s Comprehensive Plan, incorporate best practices, improve user-friendliness, guide more consistent decision-making, and simplify administration.
