Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) vending machines are now available at four specific locations at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). Two companies are placing their vending machines at the airport. Hudson, a New Jersey-based company, and St. Louis-based AVendCo, are supplying the airport with the vending machines. The vending machines can be found prior to security as well as in one of the airport’s concourses.

Initially, the PPE vending machine locations include:

  • Near baggage claim in Terminal 2 (operated by Hudson)
  • Prior to the security check point for C Concourse in Terminal 1 (operated by AVendCo)
  • Prior to the security check point in Terminal 2 (operated by AVendCo)
  • Near Gate E24 in Terminal 2 (operated by AVendCo)

The automated retail of PPE is a safe and secure way of purchasing these necessary products while one travels. Having access to Personal Protective Equipment helps airline passengers remain safe even if they forget to pack their PPE items. Both Hudson and AVendCo will offer a selection of face masks, hand sanitizers, all-in-one hygiene kits, and gloves. These items are TSA approved and are kept in a closed environment where only the end consumer touches it.

Contactless payment options are available at both PPE vending machines to make purchases. The machines will also have anti-microbial shields that eliminates germs on the machines’ surface for three to four months before replacement. Both venders’ PPE vending machines are also ADA compliant.
