A new post office was opened in Wentzville last week, with a ribbon-cutting held to celebrate the event. The facility is located at 762 Luetkenhaus Boulevard.
“We are very excited to have this brand-new facility in our community,” Wentzville Mayor Nick Guccione said in a press release. “We greatly appreciate all of the hard work that went into making this dream a reality. We are thankful for our residents, business owners, Post Office customers, the Board of Aldermen and others who provided community support to help expand the facility while keeping it in Historic Downtown Wentzville.”
Charles Sciurba, the USPS District Manager, said that this new facility will provide enhanced access to the public for USPS services. It will, he added, will allow USPS staff to better manage an increased workflow and help to efficiently and effectively serve the Wentzville community.
Attendees at the ribbon cutting included Guccione, Wentzville’s Economic Development Director Dan Lang, Congressman Blane Luetkemeyer, USPS District Manager Charles Sciurba, Wentzville Post Master Jeff Meyer, and several members of the Western St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce, including Executive Director Tony Matthews.
