Robert LeMaster, a senior at Christian Brothers College High School has been named the recipient of the 2020 Pachyderm Scholarship presented by the St. Charles County Pachyderm Club.
Rob has been active as a high school coordinator of the Turning Point USA organization in St. Charles County as well as participating in wrestling, football, drama, and leadership at CBC.
The Pachyderm Club of St. Charles County is a conservative Republican club which meets each Friday (except holiday weekends) at JJ's Restaurant in O'Fallon from noon to 2 p.m. The $1500 scholarship is applied to tuition to attend the Leadership Institute for the training toward conservative leadership. Rob received his training in New Orleans in June. He is considering attending Yale or Truman University.
The Leadership Institute, founded by Morton Blackwell in 1979 is located in Alexandria, Virginia. It's purpose is to identify and train conservative values. With LI's help, tomorrow's conservative leaders begin their political careers on campus today.
