Christmas Wonderland Was Huge Success!

The 10th Annual First Step Back Home Christmas Wonderland held December 15, 2018 at Wentzville United Methodist Church was the biggest and best yet! At least 552 people showed up including 362 working poor and homeless from 130 families. This included 156 kiddos who received gifts from Santa and 41 teens who got to “shop” for their own stuff. 190 volunteers and visitors from 14 different churches, 14 community organizations, and 7 local businesses helped us make it all happen.

180 kid Bibles were distributed, nearly $14K in donations of 750 toys, 197 filled laundry baskets, 300 bags of personal care items, 1K pair of socks and the 5K+ diapers and wipes.

Toys for Tots came through big time for us when a last-minute toy drive at a business was canceled and God provided for every single detail, including the great weather that day. Oh What a Day!
