The Film Festival, which is organized and produced by students, has been supported by grants for the past two years from the Wentzville School District Foundation. “We are proud of our students for their tremendous effort in making our second WSD Film Festival a success,” said Instructional Technology Coach Amanda Moody. “From designing the website, logo, and promotional video and poster, to hosting and directing the evening events — and of course, making all the films — this was truly a student-driven experience that the whole community came out to enjoy. We can’t wait to see what they create next year!”

The logo was designed by Lillian Kraft (Frontier Middle), the poster was designed by Kiley Hanff (Timberland), the website was designed by Anna Ramsey (Holt) and the promotional video for the festival was designed by Ianne Salvosa (Liberty). Auditions were held for the honor of emceeing the festival and Sammie Lammert (Timberland), Jace Nielsen (Timberland), Sara Phillips (Holt) and Tori Smith (Timberland) were chosen as co-hosts. The production was directed by Allison Baltz (Timberland) who also assisted on the Set and Experience Team with Zachary Kelley (Holt), and Sara Phillips was the sound designer. Members of the Press Pool included: Maddie Baker, Alexis Donato, Julia Fallert, Olivia Holler, Leah Miget, Lauren Polydys, Ianne Salvosa, Haley Schumer, and Desiree Smith from Liberty, Logan Fisher and Paige Pieper from Holt, and Clayton Herbst, Megan Mueller, and Brady Snavely from Timberland.
