Wentzville Christian Church proudly presents a community theater production of “Footloose”.  The Church will offer four performances of the musical:  Friday, May 4th at 7pm; Saturday, May 5th at 2pm and 7pm; and Sunday, May 6th at 2pm.  Admission to the performances is free and open to the public.  Seating is first come, first served.  Doors open 30 minutes before each performance.

This is the 12th year the Church has produced a full-length Broadway musical to share with the community.  WCC’s Arts for Life Theater Recognition Guild Award nominated production of “Joseph” last year drew 2000 in attendance.  This year’s production features a talented cast of 32 drawn from the Church and surrounding area, along with an 8 piece band (which includes members of the St. Charles Municipal Band).  “Footloose” features memorable songs, high energy dancing, and ’80s styles.

The Church is also collecting shoes for the “Shoe Man Water Project”  during the performance weekend.  Attenders are encouraged to bring new or gently used shoes to donate.  Wentzville Christian Church is located at 1507 Hwy. Z (1 mile south of I-70).  For more information call 636-327-6622 or visit the Church website at wentzvillecc.org.
