Spectra, providers of Venue Management to the St. Charles Convention Center, has hired Jay Katz as Director of Food and Beverage. Katz will oversee all food and beverage operations at the award-winning facility. Katz brings more than 30 years of industry experience to the table spanning all across the United States. Originally a St. Louis native, his career has lead him to places like Atlanta, Georgia, and Reno, Nevada to Dallas, Texas and back again. Katz is an industry professional with a strong background in culinary and front of the house operations. His professional competencies include team building, coaching, mentoring, drive for innovation, profit and loss management, marketing, quality assurance and safety.
