Hackbarth was being presented the Vocational Service Award for his volunteer work in the Wentzville and Lake St. Louis communities. The award is presented by the club periodically to citizens who excel in their professional and community service. Hanke noted that the Rev. He also has delivered Meals on Wheels for over 30 years, has sold Old Newsboy editions for children’s charities for 32 years and has chaired the Rotary Community Sale for charity for two decades, among many other acts of service.
