Rev. Dr. Andrew Kasberg has been named Pastor of Dardenne Presbyterian Church to succeed retired Pastor Rev. Dr. Larry Maley. Andrew was called to be the Associate Pastor at Dardenne in 2014. Previously, he served as the Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Burbank in Burbank, California.
During his time at Dardenne, Andrew shared the pulpit with Dr. Maley and has been instrumental in relaunching a contemporary worship service, starting a small group ministry, and leading the Deacons to reorganize the shepherding ministry for congregational care.
“My heart is to shepherd a congregation by walking alongside and leading them to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, learning from Him how to trust God and engage with His mission, while passionately desiring to reach the unchurched.”
Andrew, the son of a Presbyterian pastor, received a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from the University of Florida; Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in Richmond, Virginia; and Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. He and his wife Caitlin are the parents of a one-year-old daughter and reside in O’Fallon.
Andrew is excited about being part of the work God is doing in and through the church, local community, and world. He values the history and traditions that have been passed down at Dardenne for nearly 200 years and is committed to continuing to preach the Bible, God’s word, as the guide for life and faith.
Dardenne Presbyterian Church welcomes you to attend any of their services on Sundays at 8:00 (traditional), 9:30 (blended), and 11:00 (modern).
