The City of Wentzville will hold two open-house style public meetings later this month. Both meetings will focus on transportation projects that will affect Wentzville residents and business owners in the near future.
The first public meeting will be held on Thursday, March 15 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Board Chambers at City Hall (1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd.). This meeting will focus on the West Meyer Road Phase III project, which includes the reconstruction and widening of approximately 4,500 feet of West Meyer Road between North Point Prairie Road and the east end of the existing bridge over a tributary to McCoy Creek. The new roadway section will include reconstruction of the existing West Meyer Road and will add a bi-directional center turn lane and a single, 10-foot wide, multi-use trail along the south side to connect to Rotary Park. During this meeting, the City and its design consultant will present the proposed project with exhibits indicating the proposed preliminary plans. Comment cards will also be provided for resident feedback.
The second public meeting will be held on Monday, March 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Board Chambers at City Hall (1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd.). This meeting will focus on the Wentzville Parkway Turn Lane Phase II project, which includes the construction of a bi-directional center turn lane between Schroeder Creek Boulevard and Meyer Road. There will be a new 10-foot, multi-use trail constructed along the south side of Wentzville Parkway, as well as a new six-foot sidewalk along the north side.
If you have questions about either of these meetings, please call Public Works at (636) 327-5102.
