Jardin du Lac is proud to present the Civic Citation Award to the Lake Saint Louis Garden Center as one of the most improved businesses in our city. The club has watched this business change from a garden center to the beautiful well organized business it is today.
In the spring of 2011, the center became known as Lake Saint Louis Garden Center. For close to 30 years Jim Tricamo and Stan Elfrink have owned the property the center sits on. This center was known as TLC Garden Center, leased to Summerwinds from about 2003-2010, in 2011 it reopened as Lake Saint Louis Garden Center. In March 2015, Mr. Richard Kopp the owner of Kirkwood Material Supply purchased the business and property from Jim and Stan making it his 6th location in the St. Louis area. He and his team work hard to continue to improve to better serve the people of Lake Saint Louis and surrounding areas.
The center offers a great selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, and gifts for the home and garden; as well as many choices in bulk mulch, rock, bagged goods, etc. The center is currently working on a coloring system to simplify your shopping challenges with colored coded brick to help in picking annuals, perennials and the different varieties of plants.
The center is open year round, and customer service is top rate. The club took a tour around the garden front and back and Erin Liberson shared some of the other improvements they are currently working on. They are busy painting, planting and continuing to improve the business for the people in Lake Saint Louis.
The Christmas offerings are outstanding.
