IMG_1213In St. Charles County alone there are over 100 bars and counting. Not only does this mean a bar needs to stand out, but it must also have the prices and variety to match. Luckily for one of the newest bars in town, they have all of this and more.

“We were tired of driving across the bridge. We wanted to have quality in every aspect while also having it at a reasonable price,” said Sherri Beeman.

It was with that desire that Beeman set out to open a bar that would cater to those who prefer craft beers, imported wines and top shelf liquor as the standard, not the exception. With a selection of over 35 scotches, Everything Wines & Cigars in Dardenne Prairie has respectively taken the honor of having the largest selection of scotch in St. Charles County and good scotch at that – including Johnny Blue and Signet.

Right now in the United States, Craft brewers are one of the fastest growing businesses across the country, craft breweries saw their business grow by 17% last year alone. And at Everything Wine & Cigars there are over 50 craft beers to choose from.

“If you come in one week and try one of the craft beers they’ll be a new one in its place the following week,” said Beeman.

With well over a 100 different wines to choose from, patrons will never have the feeling of déjà vu when it comes to the amount of variety. With such a large selection Everything Wine & Cigars offers wine tastings every Saturday. And if you were to find a glass of wine you liked, you can buy it, suggested Beeman.

Located inside of Everything Wines & Cigars is a climate controlled smoking lounge that allows smokers to stay inside and enjoy their drinks all the while being able to light up a cigar and have a good time. And if that wasn’t enough within a month there will be an outside patio, according to Beeman.

Promotional events are always exciting and Everything Wines & Cigars recently had a day entirely devoted to men called, “Man Day.” This day was devoted to celebrating fathers and all men alike and even added in free craft beer and whiskey tasting to all. Beeman also spoke of having live acoustic bands and other things in the near future.

Although Everything Wine & Cigars hasn’t been open long the reviews on their Facebook page are a constant stream of “great night” and “good times.”
